A fold down chair is provided for your convenience.In addition guests also have a complimentary hospitality tray, toiletries & a hairdryer in the room.

A 5 star plus guesthouse
A 5 star plus guesthouseWhat an amazing guesthouse - so welcoming, clean and inviting, room was 5 star with everything you need, breakfast 1st class, Jo and Martin perfect hosts - what more could you want! Would definitely come again and would recommend to friends and family. If I could rate it higher than 5 star, I would.

A calm atmosphere
Our hosts Jo and Martin were very welcoming, cheerful and relaxed. There was no urgency to deal with our arrival. Obviously very experienced in running a guest house and have a cheerful disposition in handling children and people. Our room was bright, cheerful and the bed was very comfortable. Complimentary facilities were generous. The shower room was small but they made the most of the space available. There was very little noise heard, the breakfast was well presented to our taste. Overall, we loved our stay there and will staythere again in the future.

Great B&B, friendly hosts, excellent location
We stayed with Jo and Martin at Cherwood Guest House for a weekend in Oct 2025 during a last-minute, half-term break in Paignton.We had a great stay and couldn't fault either the property or our hosts. The location is very central in Paignton, literally 2 mins walk from the sea / pier / playground.Our family room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean with everything we needed.Breakfast was freshly cooked, delicious and set us up for the day.Big thank you to our hosts and we would 100% recommend Cherwood (book direct for best deals!).
